More paint!

Hi Everyone! I hope you're doing good.
I don't know if this is of any interest to anyone but please tell me if it bores you and you just wanna stick to makeup stuff.

This is the in-progress and finished version of one of my paintings (my first portrait in oil paint actually):

This is the one I just started

That's what I've scribbled so far because I'm not very motivated these days and I missed some classes too =/

See you! Bye!

Friday, Funday, Look of the day!

Hi!

This is my look of the day for Friday (as in last week friday, didn't get the time to post it =/ ),
Nothing remarkable as this is a "Work day Look"
I hope you like it though!

I look a bit pale and washed out because of the lighting and also because I haven't been eating that well (not that I usually do, but these days am trying my best to be good) for a few days so I look tired... =(

Also, this little guy right here:

looks like he's wearing an African tribal warrior mask on his back, no?  =P

Do you guys know what this insect is?

There's loads of them in the park where I have lunch everyday.

See you! Bye!

Saturday Photo Shoot!!!

Hello Everyone!

I hope you had an amazing weekend,  I did!
This weekend I had my first real experience as a MUA, as in, I didn't know the person I was gonna apply makeup on and it had to be done well because it was for a photo shoot.
In the beginning, I must admit that I was a bit stressed out by the whole thing and I had a little panick attack moment when everything was spread out on the table and the model was sitting there bare faced waiting for me to “work my magic”.^^
But then I just “went for it” and started and everything went quite well.
It was quite a nice experience because the model and also the photographer were very nice, we were chatting and laughing all along, I didn’t even see the time go by!
I can't wait for the next time!!!

Me making faces while actually applying the makeup, I was telling her: “do like this --___--”

This is a picture of the model before applying the makeup, she had awesome skin: not too dry not too oily, no pimples and no scars, only some bad dark circles but nothing that a good concealer couldn’t help with.

Sabrina, the model looking all glamorous, can you believe that her own lashes were longer than the lashes I glued on?!!! I was like: “What the…?!!!”

This is my favorite look, the Amazone one. The only instructions that I had were that it had to be green and look like an eye mask and be intricate for close-up pictures.
I really enjoyed doing it and it turned out so nice, I might just rock it on a night out ^^, just kidding, but I would be tempted to do so. Wish I were a bit more bold. ^^

I hope you all enjoyed this post I will update it with the products used, surprisingly I didn't really use much, I used a lot of brushes but tried to keep the product list short so it wouldn't look cakey.

All in all, this was a wonderful experience and I'm really happy and grateful that Aurélie trusted me to do this and also to Sabrina for letting me post her pictures on my blog and also being such a sport about getting her makeup done by a newbie like me. =)

Have a nice friday!

See you all real soon!

Busy bee!!!

Hi!

Hope you're all fine!

Sorry for the absence of any posts this week, I've been quite tired and busy, a combination my body doesn't really seem to like but interesting stuff coming ahead!

First of all I'm revamping the blog so you'll see some of that , and I also have  photoshoot this weekend (I'll be the MUA not the model =P)

Until my next update, which will be asap promise, here's some pictures of my current obsession.

L'OrĂ©al Paris' Color Riche in Dating Coral, on the pic I've been wearing it for three days, I'm still wearig it now and it's been almost a week, so far, no chips. \o/

In the first pic I'm also sporting my most fave bracelet in the world (currently=P) from Asos, you can also get it from Ebay ;)

I really love the brush because you cover your entire nail in two brush strokes and it dries pretty fast too.

And see below, so far, no chips! I love it!!!

I'm also wearing my elephant ring that I got from Ebay.

See you all soon! Bye!

What I've been up to this weekend, sneak peek

Hi!

Just popping in and back out to show you guys what I've been up to this week end.

Playing with makeup (as usual but more than usual):

I played with my Facefront Palette, I don't know why but I've been having a fixation on Purple eyeshadow so I had to do a look with it, and it's actually as vibrant as it looks in the palette, I was really surprised because *I thought the blush colours looked a bit too glittery and "flimsy". Anyway I'll talk about the palette and do complete swatches so keep your eyes peeled for it. Please don't be offended by my big forehead that looks even bigger, these photos were taken by my Boyfriend with his phone and I was doing al kinds of movements so that the light would hit my face cuz I thought I was gonna get blinded by the flash =)
More of the eye makeup look.

I also made some twice baked potatoes! Hmmmm!
Update: Added the pictures!!! =)

These were as delicious as they look =), I tried doing some kind of decoration sprinkle with the salted herbs. =P I hope u like!

I made some with regular potatoes and some with sweet potatoes too (a mix of sweet and regular potatoes).
I'll update the post with the pictures tonight. Until then, be good and take care!
Have a nice Monday everyone!

P.S.: about my upcoming post, it's still upcoming for now because I have a bit of a camera situation but nothin that cannot be solved ;)

See you! Bye!
